For the casual cyclist there a plenty of destinations within the ferry drop of point, for the keen and fit cyclist the Island can be circumvented in a day, for the Mountain Biker Arran is a Mountainous island and therefore has some excellent trails for Mountain Bikes.

| Mountain Bike Heaven We are lucky to be located close to what could be described as one of the biggest developments in Europe so far as Mountain Biking is concened. The Seven Staines is series of purpose built mountain bike destinations throughout the south west of Scotland.
To the east is Glentress near Peebles voted best UK MTB centre 2004 by Singletrack magazine.To the south is Mabie forest, Kirroughtree, the forest of Ae , Glentrool and Dalbeattie Forest.
